Do I need to have cable TV to be able to get cable internet?

You do NOT have to subscribe to or already have cable TV services in order to get cable internet.

Sorry we do not rent modems for Nova Scotia services at this time.

If I were to bring my own modem, what models do you support?

How long does it take to activate service?

eCable orders can take anywhere from 3 to 10 days, it all depends on the scheduling of the upstream provider.

Who installs my service?

If a technician is required, it would be either an Eastlink or Eastlink subcontractor that would visit your house. This technician is responsible for verifying a signal to the coax cable but does not hook up your equipment; that part is up to the customer.

When is my first payment due?

Your first payment is due once we have confirmation of your activation date. We will e-mail you an invoice and charge your credit card.

Are there contracts?

AM Technology Solutions does not have contracts. We are a prepaid service that runs month-to-month. Please note that the first month is non-refundable. We are also unable to offer refunds if you cancel in the middle of a billing cycle.

What are the methods of payment?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Visa and Mastercard Debit & pre-authorized debit.

Past Due Accounts

AM Technology Solutions reports to all major and regional credit bureau’s. Accounts past due 15 days will be suspended. Any account past due 30 days without contact from the customer will result in your account being handed to our collection partner and reported to the the credit bureaus.
